i can’t help but weep every time i see this in the art museum. an innocent entrance onto the second floor, i inevitably go admire the tears in the old king’s eyes, and then i turn my head to the left and there he is. i pretend i’m not going to go directly to him, meandering from one painting to another, but all with my eyes secretly enveloped in his. finally, i allow myself to stand in front of him and as they always do, my eyes start milking and continue even after we’ve left and are eating our sandwiches.

A moonbow (also known as a lunar rainbow or white rainbow) is a rainbow that occurs at night. Moonbows are relatively faint, due to the smaller amount of light from the Moon. As with rainbows, they are in the opposite part of the sky from the moon. This picture was taken looking south, the bright star to the right is Achernar.
